When something happens that overwhelms or overloads our systems or our ability to cope – we experience trauma. Feelings of being “out of control” or “helpless” often occur after a traumatic experience. These memories and feelings can get unconsciously stored in our Physical/Emotional body and memory. These memories/feelings can be triggered by a body sensation, an image, a smell, etc. Because this happens unconsciously, we experience trauma over and over, sometimes for months or years after the original event(s).
Trauma creates a chaotic energy in our body – separate from our normal energetic flow – until we’re capable of releasing the trauma in a safe environment.
Through subtle physical/emotional/mental release the body is able to release the chaotic energy and heal.
